We took the kids into Chicago today to eat at The Choo Choo Restaurant. Stephen was in heaven. From there, we stopped at Woofield Mall to shop. This was snapped in the family restroom because Stephen could not get over the teenie tiny toilet or the sink that was just his height. I had to squat down to even get myself in the mirror for this pic. We're dorks. I felt like Dorothy in Munchkin Land.

I love spring. I get very excited checking to see which of my plants survived the winter. My Japanese Maple is my absolute favorite plant find from last year and I'm so happy to see the buds already forming. During planting season, you will find my mom and I at Lowe's/Home Depot/local nurseries at least once a week. We love finding strange plants to include in our garden collection.

Mom and I went to Lombard, IL today for an open house at one of our suppliers. We totally had to make a stop at Trader Joe's on the way home since our town is too lame to get one of its own. I could buy these sesame honey almonds by the ton. These are my favorite snack!

I am so wicked pissed at a certain bank that rhymes with SPAMCORE. This is my annoyed face. I am pulling all 4 of our accounts from there and transferring my money somewhere where they don't try to bend their customer's over without buying them dinner first. Perhaps somewhere where my money is in fact my money to do as I so wish with. I think someplace that let's you dip into your emergency fund one time to pay a bill and doesn't fine you $7.50 even when you put that money back the very next day when you were paid. Maybe someplace that won't try to charge you again since that $7.50 they withdrew put you back under their magic number for the current quarter. We're talking a run of the mill savings account with an interest rate so low it's a joke. Oh, and P.S. Man Who Works At the Call Center and Doesn't Give a Shit About My Money, I don't care that another bank in town does this as well. Every other bank my husband called yesterday told me they waved that fee when you have more than one account with them. Last time I checked, 4 was more than 1.... I can't wait to go in there on Tuesday.

Today we wored on replacing the graphics on the back of the Miller beer trucks. This always leaves me with skinless knuckles, dirty fingernails and at least one heat gun burn. Fun times. At least my brother burned himself as well. At least I'm not the only heat gun casuality.

The kids and I visited daddy at work today. Stephen loves hanging out in the studio and salivating over the many, many buttons he would like to push. Sammo is always amazed at the new surroundings and I enjoy being married to a local celebrity/actor extraordinaire. They have a sweet wall of CDs that I'm not sure that they use them anymore. I think I saw a copy of Frampton Comes Alive in there. Scott's favorite!
