Happy Valentine's Day. Stephen was really into it this year. We made "Vawentine's" for family and mailed them out. He really loved cutting out the paper and making a supreme mess of our dining room table. Stephen was very excited about his "Vawentine's" up until we slid them down the mail slot. He became distraught and demanded we get his "Vawentine's" back. I tried explaining to him that we do not keep Valentine's for ourselves, but we share them with others. He did not love this idea and expressed as such. An older gentleman at the post office couldn't help but smile as we were leaving. I continued to laugh even after a 30 minute silence Stephen would exclaim, "We have to get the Vawentine's back!" Scott and I exchanged cards and boxes of chocolates which was muchly appreciated. I was tired of attempting to diet anyway.
